INFLUENSTER- SALLY HANSEN COMPLETE MANICURE

INFLUENSTER- SALLY HANSEN COMPLETE MANICURE

Hey Frugalista’s!

I have been M.I.A. for a while, I got caught up with my YouTube channel and life. I am glad to be back! I was sent the Sally Hansen Complete Manicure box from Influenster. Sally Hansen Complete Manicure offers 7 benefits in one bottle. This new line has base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, top coat, chip resistant and a gel shine finish in every bottle.

Sally Hansen Complete Manicure Swatches

I love this line, the polish dries faster than the typical nail polish. It dries with a glossy shine and is long lasting. I currently, have on the “pat on the black” and i’m on my 7th day and it’s just starting to chip. I would definitely recommend this line to anyone, the price is average I bought a pink shade months ago for $6.99. I must add the brush provides a smooth and even application. My favorite shade is jaded which is the mint green on the right : )

Shades from left to right:
Red my lips 470, Pat on the black 510, Jaded 540

NICOLE BY OPI “STILL INTO PINK” NAIL POLISH REVIEW

Image

Hey Frugalista’s

I decided to spice it up and give my nails a summer pop of color. I am so over winter! I painted my nails with the Nicole by OPI “Still into Pink”. I love pink its my favorite color and this is a hot pink with shimmer notes. Not only is the color pretty its long lasting, it lasted 3days before chipping. It probably could of lasted longer if I did not wash dishes etc.  I highly recommend this color if you love pink and are bold with bright colors. It’s a perfect summer color and pedicure color as well. I decided to give myself an early summer I was sick of the darker, dull colors. Nicole by OPI can be purchased any where now, drugstores, nail shops, beauty supply stores, large retailers like Wal-Mart and Target. This products ranges from $6-$12 depending on the retailer. Go out and get your pop of color frugalista!

Great Deal : Wet N Wild Redmond Red Nail Polish

Image

Hey frugalista’s!

I bought the Wet N Wild Redmond Fast Dry nail polish at Walgreens for only $1.49. Plus I had a $1 off coupon from the Sunday newspaper a few weeks back. Therefore I paid $0.49 plus tax.:) This nail polish does dry pretty fast which I love. Also the red is so vibrant, it’s a nice bright red which I love. Red is a sexy color and it stands out. This nail polish lasted a long time without going chipped and had a nice gloss to it. I would highly recommend it, and there is a wide selection of colors. I must say Wet N Wild has stepped up their nail polish game up. This fast dry line is a must try and the price is so right lol.

Wet n Wild Megalast Review

Image

Hey Frugalista’s

I recently fell in love with the Wet N Wild Megalast long wear nail polish line. These polishes are cheap and affordable range from $1.49-$1.99. These polishes go on nice, last average 5 days and has a nice shine. It is a very good quality despite the price I would compare the quality to salon brand polishes. I have on “on a trip” it is a purple/blue color. I absolutely love it and it has not chipped so far, I have been wearing it for 3 days. Frugalista’s this is a major steal for the price and quality your getting. Go on and try it!

My stubby little fingers lol! But look at the Shine and Color 😀

Wet N Wild Bonus Edition Duo’s $1.99

Image

Hey Frugalista’s

I went to Walgreens yesterday and seen a fab deal on the side of the aisle. There was a Wet N Wild display, you get two items for $1.99 in a package. They had single eye shadows with black eyeliner and 2 nail polish combos. There were many different colors to choose from for the shadow and nail polish. Lucky for me I went in there for a clear polish and I got the Clear topcoat and a red polish in the package for $1.99. I was so excited it was a great deal! Unfortunately, there was not a lot of selection the display was almost cleared out. It made me wonder what other duo’s they had 😐 . I advise you to check out your Walgreens and grab this deal. Also it is the Wet N Wild Megalast long wearing nail polish. The polish lasts for 5 days, chip resistant and has minerals and calcium. For $1.99 you cannot lose!

NYC Shiny Clear Polish Review

Image

Hey Frugalista’s

So I went to target this week and I picked up the NYC  Extra Shiny topcoat #271. I really needed a new clear polish and I had a coupon to top it off so I thought I was getting a steal. The NYC Extra Shiny topcoat was $0.94 and I had a $0.50 off coupon on any NYC product. Therefore, I paid $0.44 which was great at the time! This coupon is available on Target.com by the way if  your interested in saving some money. So you know I love a bargain and was happy about the price. I painted my nails and used the NYC top coat, the next day my polish was stripping off 😦 . My mom also used it on her nails for just a clean natural manicure and hers was chipping off the next day as well. Therefore, the NYC  Extra Shiny topcoat is not a great product, I would not recommend it at all! As they say you get what you paid for lol! I will say I used other NYC cosmetic products such as the liquid eyeliner and mascara and it was great! Just thought I would share 😀

xoxo

My Julep Maven box arrived!

Image

Hey Frugalista’s!

I know I have been slacking on the blog but I moved and all this stuff. So I received my first Julep Maven box and it was exciting. If y’all remembered I got the 1st box for 1 penny. In my previous blog I have the code and information how you can get yours for 1 penny as well. The packaging is very pretty it is black and pink. I received 3 nail polishes I love all the colors not so crazy about the sparkly purple because I don’t really like sparkle polishes. However for 1 penny how can I even complain. I tried the blue polish and  I loved it, it lasted long it started chipping on the 4th day. The pink polish looked like a hot pink but when i put it on it came out to be like a darker pink.  Julep Maven polishes are good it takes 3-4 days to start chipping and you need 2 coats of polish. I would compare it to Sally Hansen brands in terms of quality. The bottles are very cute and posh! Overall I say try it you only have a penny to lose.

The colors I received  were baby blue, pink and sparkly purple. Also came with two toe separators.
