Coloring My Natural Hair Blackest Black From Copper/Honey Blonde Highlights

Hey Frugalista’s

So I decided to color my hair blackest black for fall. I was sick of my highlights and it was making my hair dry and it looked dry as well. I used a semi-permanent hair color, it rinses out a bit every time I wash my hair. I used the Color Brilliance by Ion at Sally’s Beauty Supply. I paid only $4.79 with my Sally’s discount card. The color is blackest black, I absolutely loved my results. My hair looks so shiny, full, thick and voluptuous. I love how my curls look more defined and fuller. My hair felt great after it did not cause any dryness or anything. Check out my video to see the before and after. If your thinking of going darker for the fall/winter months go ahead and do so. Let me know what color you plan on coloring yours in the comments. See ya 😉

Maybelline BB Cream Review & Comparison To My Regular Iman Foundation Routine

Hey Frugalista’s

I wanted to see what all the rave was about BB creams. I decided to try Maybelline since it was the most talked about. I got the Deep tint shade. CVS had a BOGO 50% off so I bought the Maybelline BB Cream for $8.99 and got Maybelline Falsies mascara for half price at $4. Overall I like the BB cream and would recommend it. It felt like a lotion and it provided light coverage. I have dry skin and it provided moisture and did not make my face dry. I say go and try it!

HOW TO MAKE SHEA BUTTER MIX ON A BUDGET

Hey Frugalista’s

I have made a shea butter mixture that is used for natural curly hair and for skin. This mixture provides a no chemical approach for healthy hair and skin. It is very moisturizing makes your skin glow and  feel silky soft. As for hair I used castor oil in the mixture which is known to promote fast hair growth and great for sealing hair ends. My mixture also contains vitamin E, coconut oil and soybean oil. All oils provide damage control and moisture for the hair. Please check out the video and try to create your own mixture you will fall in love!

What I used:

6 oz of unrefined shear butter (ebay $10.75 for 16oz/1lb container)

2.5 Table spoons of Vitamin E also contains coconut oil and soybean oil ($3.96 Walmart in vitamin aisle) Brand is Spring Valley

2 Table spoons of Castor oil ( $2.64 Walmart in pharmacy aisle) Brand is Humco

3 drops of jasmine vanilla essential oil (bought a natural store in the mall $3)

Mainstays food storage containers 6pk ($1.84 Walmart)

Spatula

Cake Mixer

butter knife

ziploc bag
